We can offer an express service 48 hour turnaround service for a small additional charge of £5 per tape , this applies to 4 tapes or less and is based on 48 hours maximum from time of receipt to time ready to send/collect

Standard DVDs are not in an editable format, although they can be" ripped" to become editable this process requires additional software and a powerful PC to do it.
However we can convert your tapes directly into an editable format (AVI or MPEG), this is £15 per tape

Our standard conversion to DVD includes a chapter point every 5 minutes so you can press skip on your DVD player, if you want specific chapter points at certain points in the video this involves us editing the content and creating a tailor made menu this is an extra £25 per DVD

We can repair most VHS tapes but this does depend on how badly its damaged , other tapes will depend on the damage, we do this on a no fix no fee basis, the cost is £10 per tape

Cheques (payable to BusheyDVD), Credit/Debit Cards via the web site, Paypal or cash for local service. or by card over the phone, for add hoc amounts you can use the ad hoc amount on the quoation page

Yes usually we can do this, providing the footage does not exceed the maximum recommended footage of the tape type it came from, so for VHS-C & VHS 4 hours, Hi8 3 Hours, Mini DV 2 hours, please ensure you specify the order of the tapes when sending them to us

This is called VHS-C and we do convert these , you do not need to send us your cradle unless you have no use for it

Yes, unless you specifically ask us to dispose of them

There are multiple factors that affect quality and what can be done to improve it, if the quality is down to the VHS player you have viewed the tape on then it will be improved on our high quality well maintained video players, however  if there is an inhernet problem with the tape the quality is usually improved by a marginal amount when it is digitised, this is not always the case and the tape has significant quality issues then we will be unable to improve it. Tapes that are too dark can be lightened up a certain amount.

As far as sound we can replace sountracks however we cannot seperate background noise from the main audio, this would need a sound engineer.

Yes, NTSC to PAL and PAL to NTSC it is £15 per tape for this service ,providing they are not DVDs commercially bought DVDs

Providing you can confirm it is for personal use only we can make a single copy for you on DVD

No, we  cannot convert DVDs bought in the US/Canada to UK formats, however we can convert your own tapes recorded using US/NTSC equipment

We do not transfer from one type of tape to another there is in our opinion no point technically whatsoever, the only reason you would need to do this or be asked to do this is if the person editing the footage cannot use modern computer software and can only edit from a tape, you might as well start cutting up old cine footage!. We can transfer to an editable format that you can edit with computer software

Yes camcorders tapes are one of the following types Hi8 , Mini DV , VHS-C  or Digital 8 all of which we transfer from either standard UK cameras or US/Canadian NTSC cameras

Yes we do , as a totally discreet service , charges are the same as per editable format £15 per tape + P&P

Yes we can transfer it providing it is for personal use only

Please look at the form on the web site and write a letter giving all the key information from the form and enclose that with your items

We use DVD-r as these are compatible with all DVD players and computers

We understand that you may not have the camera or VCR to check the tape , therefore if we find a blank tape then we will not charge you for it, so if you have paid we will refund you for any blanks

Yes , providing you confirm when sending that it is for personal use only, then we will transfer for you

Yes, we have customers from all over Europe, what we normally do is post the DVDs separately to the tapes using normal airmail so that in the unlikely event they do get lost we have the original tapes and can redo them, The cost of postage for the DVDs is roughly comparable to special delivery in the UK. Once you confirm safe receipt we can then either dispose of the originals or send them to you for the cost of the postage.

 Our charges are based on a per tape basis so the amount of footage on it is not relevant to the cost 

We supply a solid plastic case for your DVD/CD 's , the same or similar to the picture below

Yes we can do this , the cost is £25 + £6 return P&P please use the ad hoc amount box if you are paying on line

Providing you have the hardware, software and knowledge you can copy our discs as they are not copy protected in anyway, alternatively we can copy them for you for £5 a copy

We can do this for you, however this involves direct editing and is a very different service to straight transfers, it is charged at an additional £20 per tape, however the DVDs we do, have 5 minute chapter points so you can press skip on the remote control as well as forward a lot quicker then video tapes so if don’t want to spend the additional money you can fast forward through adverts
